Aluminum oxide grain is extremely tough and is ideal for work with hardwoods and dense materials. The “x” weight backing provides a more rigid, heavier belt that offers extreme strength. Open coat grain coverage gives faster cutting and a coarser finish results. The 150 grit paper is recommended when preparing bare surfaces for finishes and can be used for shaping and smoothing wood.
