Aluminum oxide grain is extremely tough and is ideal for work with hardwoods and dense materials. The “x” weight backing provides a more rigid, heavier belt that offers extreme strength. Open coat grain coverage can be used on a wide range of woodworking projects and gives faster cutting and a coarser finish results. The 60 grit paper is recommended when stripping paint or lacquer from various surfaces including metal, fiberglass, plastics and wood.
